Almost every shipment of value already carries some form of GPS tracking. That's a good thing — visibility is the foundation of a modern supply chain. But somewhere along the way, "we can see where it is" got mistaken for "we know it's safe." Those are not the same claim, and the gap between them is exactly where losses happen.
A GPS tracker answers the question where. It plots a position on a map, updates it on an interval, and lets a dispatcher confirm a truck is roughly where it should be. For routing, ETA, and proof of delivery, that's genuinely valuable. The problem is that location, on its own, is a thin signal. A dot on a map is equally calm whether the load is cruising safely down the interstate or sitting at an address where the wrong people are unloading it.
